MobiTrack Made My Life Simpler!

I am going to be sharing with all of you my experience with a service launched by Mobilink a few months ago by the name of MobiTrack. It is a mobile navigation solution and I tell you, since I have started using it, I have been recommending it to my family and friends and you will know why. Last year, I happened to come to Islamabad to attend to a family affair. I had last visited the city years ago and hardly remembered the routes. The truth is Islamabad has transformed so beautifully in the last decade that unless you were a patient spectator overlooking all these incremental developments that took place over the last couple of years, you just can’t overcome the fact that the city has become an unfamiliar place for those who don’t live here.

I was bound to be lost in the revamped federal capital but thankfully my father saw it coming. He was concerned and enlisted the help of a close friend who uses this mobile navigation service, MobiTrack to help him install the same service on my mobile phone. He was all praises about the features it had. It seemed to good to be true. That evening my father showed me how I can use MobiTrack to locate various places nearby.

We left from home and our position was instantly picked up by the system. It showed us a complete map of where we were. Then he typed in our family friend’s house address and MobiTrack showed us the entire route from our current position to that new location. It even had a route demo and voice navigation system that would tell you when to turn left and where to take a turn to reach our destination. The best part was that it even displayed the current speed at which we were going and the time and the number of kilometers left to reach our location.

I wasn’t able to truly experience MobiTrack in real time until I actually went to Islamabad and used this service to reach McDonalds in F-10 and my relative’s house in G-8. I could easily find out the nearest petrol station to my current location and my way to Jinnah super market from my relative’s house was not a worry anymore. I must say I had such an enthralling experience that now I frequently use MobiTrack to reach places. The best part is if now somebody tells me to reach somewhere I have never been before; I just don’t need to take directions anymore. I just feed the address in MobiTrack system on my mobile phone and it takes me directly to my desired location without any hassle. The simple life!
